Hard Keys Line Keys This section describes the hard line keys (L1, L2, and L3) on your phone. These keys are also called Multiple Line/Call Appearance Keys and are located on the bottom-right of the phone. Multiple Line/ Call Appearance Keys (L1, L2, and L3) Multiple Line and Call Appearances The 6739i has three line/call appearance keys (L1, L2, and L3) each with a corresponding status LED. These line/call appearance keys represent physical lines you can use to make/receive calls from/to your extension, or make/receive calls from/to a group for which your extension belongs. The line/call appearance LED indicates the status of that line. The following table describes the behaviour of the LED on the Line Keys. Line/Call Appearance LED Behaviour Off Light flashes quickly Light is solid Light flashes slowly Line/Call Appearance Status Idle line or no call activity Ringing Connected Hold Using the IP Phone UI at the path Options->Softkeys or the Aastra Web UI at the path Operation->Softkeys and XML, you can also configure up to 6 additional Line Keys. When configured, these Line Keys appear on the softkeys on either side of the display. Note: The 6739i allows up to 9 configured Line Keys - 3 hard keys (L1, L2, and L3) and 6 softkeys configured as Line Keys.
