Getting Started About the System Tray Icon You can tell which mode Adaptec File Saver is in by the color of the system tray icon, as described in this Table. Icon Mode Active (grey) Active (blue) Logging (yellow) Description Adaptec File Saver is monitoring your computer for file activity. Adaptec File Saver is performing backups. Adaptec File Saver is tracking files that change but deferring actual backups until your network connection is reestablished. In Logging mode, versioning (see page 3-18) is suspended. Only the latest copy of a file will be saved when the connection is reestablished and Adaptec File Saver is in Active mode. Getting Help Click Help or ? to open the Adaptec File Saver online Help. Closing Adaptec File Saver To close the Adaptec File Saver window, in the File menu, select Close. Although the window closes, Adaptec File Saver remains active on your computer. 2-3
