Viewing and Managing Your Backup Files Viewing Exception Files Adaptec File Saver tracks file deletions. When a file on your computer is deleted, its backup versions are flagged and listed in the Exceptions view. All other files that need attention, as described in the Table on page 5-3, are also listed in the Exceptions view. To view all exception files: 1 Open the Adaptec File Saver window by double-clicking the icon on your desktop or system tray. 2 In the main menu (shown on page page 2-2), click Views and Advanced Tools. The Tree view opens. (It may take several moments for the Tree view content to display.) 3 In the Tools menu, select Advanced, then select View Exceptions. The Exceptions window opens, listing all backup files that need attention. Status is indicated as described in Checking Backup File Status on page 5-3. 5-6

Viewing Exception Files
Adaptec File Saver tracks file deletions. When a file on your

To view all exception files:
