Viewing and Managing Your Backup Files Restore a File to a New Location To restore the file to a new location: 1 Follow Steps 1 to 3 in Restoring a File to Its Original Location on page 5-9. 2 Select No, specify another location, then click Browse. 3 To restore to an existing folder, find the folder in the Browse For Folder dialog box, then click OK. To restore to a new folder, click New Folder, type a name for the folder, then click OK. 4 Click OK, then click OK again. The file is restored to the specified location. Note: You can also restore files from the File Properties window, following these instructions. See Viewing File Properties on page 5-7 for more information. 5-10
