Selecting/Unselecting all Two further operations add convenience and flexibility to usage of selection modes: Select All and Unselect All. Both operations are represented by commands in the Edit menu and buttons on the Select toolbar. Hybrid selection Hybrid object is an intermediate object, genuine to WiseImage, that is created of raster object (raster representation of lines, arcs, circles and polylines). Some operations treat hybrid objects as rasters, some as vector objects. When you finish processing hybrid object and unselect it, it becomes a raster object again. Hybrid selection smoothes the difference between vector and raster objects. In most cases you even do not need to know the nature of processed object. For example, you can select raster circle (i.e. a contiguous set of pixels that look like a circle), and WiseImage would add grips to it as if the circle was vector object. When you edit the circle moving the grips (or apply other operations of vector editing) and unselect it, it becomes a raster set of pixels again. The whole procedure looks natural and does not require from you tedious work of restoring colors, linewidth and other circle properties - WiseImage takes care automatically. The Disable Raster Objects Producing button on Raster Select toolbar switches the raster and hybrid modes of representation of selected object. · Hybrids On (the button is not pressed) - the selected objects are the set of vectors. You can apply AutoCAD vector editing operations to them. · Hybrids Off (the button is pressed) - selecting procedures result in raster selection set. The selected objects are enclosed by frame. The commands that correspond to these modes are located in rEdit > Select submenu. It this example the selection is made by fence method.
