MENU Selecting the Processing Parameters About Processing Parameters The processing parameters consist of the Tone Curve, Sharpness, and JPEG Quality. With the driver software, you can set each of these parameters as desired and register them as a custom set of processing parameters. You can set and register up to three custom sets of processing parameters. For details, see the separate "EOS-1D Software Instructions." Up to three parameter sets can be registered. 2 The tone curve can be set. The sharpness level and pattern sharpness can be set to one of five levels. The JPEG quality can be set to one of five settings for the (Fine) and (Normal) modes. Settings for Images Parameter Description Setting Effect Tone Curve Adjusts the image brightness and color properties. Tone Curve You can change the image brightness and color balance as desired. Adjusts the sharpness level. 1 2 3 4 5 A higher number will result in a sharper image. Rough Sharpness Level Selects the pattern type to be sharpened. (pattern sharpness) Moderately rough "Rough" will sharpen the rough Standard patterns of the image. "Fine" will sharpen the fine patterns Moderately fine of the image.
