Registering Coded Speed Dialing Coded speed dialing allows you to dial fax/telephone numbers by simply pressing [Coded Dial]. First, you register a fax/telephone number for coded speed dialing, then to dial the number, simply press [Coded Dial] and enter the two-digit code assigned to that number. Before you can use coded speed dialing, you need to register the recipients' numbers. 1 Press [FAX], then press [Menu]. 2 Use [ ] or [ ] to select , then press [OK]. CODED DIAL REGIST 00= 3 Use [ ] or [ ] to select a coded speed dialing code (00 to 39). 4 Press [OK] two times. TEL NUMBER TEL= 5 Use the numeric buttons to enter the fax/telephone number you want to register (max. 60 digits (40 digits for Korea), including spaces). Note z For details on how to enter or delete numbers, see "Guidelines for Entering Numbers, Letters, and Symbols" on page 68. z For color sending, the recipient's name is not printed. z Press [Redial/Pause] to enter a pause. z Press [ ] to enter a tone. 6 Press [OK] two times. NAME :A 7 Use the numeric buttons to enter a name for the coded speed dialing code (max. 16 characters, including spaces). Note For details on how to enter or delete characters, see "Guidelines for Entering Numbers, Letters, and Symbols" on page 68. 8 Press [OK]. The screen is displayed to enter the next number. z If you continue registering coded speed dialing codes, repeat the procedure from step 4. z If not, go to step 9. 9 Press [Stop/Reset].
