NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on the back of the computer). 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 102H 2. Turn the computer right-side up and open it. 3. Remove the hinge cover (see Removing the Hinge Cover). 103H 4. Remove the 15 M2x6 captive screws (item 3 in image below) that secure the top and bottom metal brackets (items 1 and 2 in image below) around the keyboard. Remove the top and bottom metal brackets. Remove the 15 M2x6 captive screws (item 3 in image below) that secure the top and bottom
metal brackets (items 1 and 2 in image below) around the keyboard.
Remove the top and
bottom metal brackets.
