When you apply an FCoE map on a fabric-facing FC port, the FC port becomes part of the FCoE fabric, whose settings in the FCoE map are configured on the port and exported to downstream server CNA ports. When you enable a fabric-facing FC port, the FCoE map applied to the port starts sending FIP multicast advertisements using the parameters in the FCoE map over server-facing Ethernet ports.
