Table 1-3. Power Button Indicators Indicator On Off Function Indicates that power is supplied to the system and the system is operational. Indicates that no power is supplied to the system. NIC Indicator Codes Each NIC on the back panel has an indicator that provides information on network activity and link status. See Figure 1-3. Table 1-4 lists the NIC indicator codes. Figure 1-3. The NIC is connected to a valid link partner on the network. Network data is being sent or received. Diagnostics Indicator Codes The four diagnostic indicator lights on the system front panel display error codes during system startup. Table 1-5 lists the causes and possible corrective actions associated with these codes. A highlighted circle indicates the light is on; a non-highlighted circle indicates the light is off. NIC Indicator Codes
Each NIC on the back panel has an indicator that provides information on network activity and link
status. See Figure 1-3. Table 1-4 lists the NIC indicator codes.

Diagnostics Indicator Codes
The four diagnostic indicator lights on the system front panel display error codes during system startup.
Table 1-5 lists the causes and possible corrective actions associated with these codes. A highlighted circle
indicates the light is on; a non-highlighted circle indicates the light is off.
NOTE:
Once the system completes POST, all diagnostic lights will be OFF.
