Light status The paper/cancel light is flashing The paper/cancel and ink lights are flashing simultaneously The paper/cancel and ink lights are flashing alternately Condition/solution One of the following has occurred: • The printer cover is open. Close the printer cover. • Paper or the CD/DVD tray is jammed. Remove the jammed paper. • Printing was canceled while printing on thick paper, or on a CD or DVD. Remove the paper or disc and press the paper/cancel button. • The source selected in the printer driver does not match the paper source. Change the paper source in the printer driver to match the correct paper source and press the paper/cancel button. • A nozzle check was started without paper in the auto sheet feeder. Load paper and press the paper/cancel button. An unrecoverable error has occurred. Turn the product off and then back on again. One of the following has occurred: • The product's ink pads are at the end of their service life. Contact Epson Support to obtain replacement pads. You cannot use the product until the pads are replaced. • The front manual feed tray is not in the correct position. When printing on thick paper, or a CD or DVD, open the front manual feed tray and position the paper or tray correctly.
