Installing a CompactFlash Memory Card You can purchase additional Type I CompactFlash memory cards from leading suppliers like Lexar Media, Delkin Devices, and SanDisk. See page B-2 for more information. To install a memory card: 1 Make sure the camera is turned off. (Press the POWER button to turn off the camera, if it is on.) CAUTION Never remove a card while the camera is on. Data in the card may be lost or damaged. 2 Place your finger behind the memory card cover latch and pull the cover open. 3 Make sure the front of the card is facing the same direction as the front of the camera, and the arrow on the card's label is pointing in. 4 Insert the card all the way into the memory card slot. As you insert the card, the eject button pops up. CAUTION Don't force the card into the slot. To install a memory card:

Make sure the camera is turned off. (Press the
POWER
button to turn off the camera, if it is on.)
CAUTION
Never remove a card while the camera is on. Data in the card
may be lost or damaged.

Place your finger
behind the memory
card cover latch and
pull the cover open.

Make sure the front of the card
is facing the same direction as
the front of the camera, and
the arrow on the card
s label is
pointing in.

Insert the card all the way into
the memory card slot. As you
insert the card, the eject button
pops up.
CAUTION
