No copy came out Is media loaded in the input tray? Load media in the device. See Loading originals to copy for more information. Is the original loaded correctly? Make sure that the original is loaded correctly in the automatic document feeder (ADF) input tray. The original should be loaded top down in the ADF input tray, with the side to be copied facing down. Insert the original into the ADF until it stops. See Loading originals to copy for more information. Is the ADF media lever set correctly? Make sure the automatic document feeder (ADF) media lever is in the correct position for the media you are using. Slide it to the single-sheet setting (to the right) when you are printing on thick media. Slide it to the multiple-sheet setting (to the left) when you are printing on regular media.
