Solving Memory Problems

Diagnostics reports a failure. Cause Network controller interrupt is shared with an expansion board. The network controller is defective. Solution Under the Computer Setup Advanced menu, change the resource settings for the board. Check that they are different from those of the network controller. Disable the integrated network controller from the setup utility and install a new network interface card. Network controller stops working without apparent cause. Cause Solution The files containing the network drivers are corrupted. Reinstall the network drivers. The cable is not securely connected. Ensure that the cable is securely attached to the network connector and that the other end of the cable is securely attached to the correct device. The network is temporarily unavailable. Contact the network administrator to find out the status of the network. Cannot connect to network server when attempting Remote System Installation. Cause Solution The network controller is not configured properly. Verify that the computer is properly connected to the network, that a DHCP Server is present, and that the Remote System Installation Server contains drivers for the network controller.
