Hood Sensor Description Hood sensor Spare part number 638816-001 The hood sensor is located on the top of the rear chassis panel. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 72). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Access Panel on page 73). 3. Unplug the hood sensor cable from the connector labeled HSENSE on the system board (1). 4. Slide the hood sensor straight out of the slot in the chassis (2).
