Front Fan Description Front fan Spare part number 689376-001 The front fan sits against the front on the left side of the chassis. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 204). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Access Panel on page 205). 3. Disconnect the fan control cable from the red system board connector labeled CHFAN. 4. Lift the fan straight up and out of the chassis.
