Architecture and planning IBM understands and recognizes that many customers need to make important decisions about their WebSphere Portal Server solution, both prior to and during a deployment. With intimate knowledge of the challenges and pitfalls that go hand in hand with managing many large scale WebSphere Portal deployments, this chapter sets out to provide the reader with an informed approach to planning, architecting, and implementing a successful Portal deployment.
