The BIOS will boot to the previous BIOS until you either move the jumper again or until you perform another BIOS update. Clearing the Password If the user or administrator password(s) is lost or forgotten, moving the password clear jumper into the "clear" position clears both passwords. The password clear jumper must be restored to its original position before a new password(s) can be set. 1. Power down the system. Leave the AC power cord connected. 2. Remove the chassis cover. For instrucstions, see "Removing the Chassis Cover" on page 24. 3. Locate the Password Clear jumper block at board position J1D2. See Figure 111. 4.
