Troubleshoot Operating the Computer
Use this section to troubleshoot problems that may prevent you from
being able to operate the computer.
Problems Operating the Computer

Solution
You press the
Power
button
and nothing happens.
Try the following solutions:
Replace or charge the battery. The battery may be completely
drained.
Remove the battery and press the
Reset
button to perform a cold
boot. For help, see
“Cold Boot the Computer” on page 124
.
The computer appears to be
locked up and you cannot
enter data.
Press the
Power
button and select
Suspend
from the Power
Options menu. Press the
Power
button to turn the screen back on.
Press the

button and select

button to perform a cold

The accelerometer does not
appear to be accurate.
You may need to calibrate the accelerometer using the Sensor
Calibration application. Tap
