Chapter 4 - Use the Camera About the Camera Settings You can configure camera settings to meet the needs of your operating environment: • Basic camera settings are available from the main menu of the Pictures & Videos application. • Advanced camera settings are available from the Settings menu option from the main menu of the Pictures & Videos application. Basic Camera Settings Setting Mode Resolution Zoom Scenes Settings Torch Flash Description Determines the camera operating mode: • Normal: Takes one picture. • Burst: Takes a series of three pictures. • Timer: Waits 10 seconds before taking the picture. Determines the resolution of the image. You can select values for image resolution or screen resolution. Determines the amount of zoom: from 1x to 4x. Predefined scenes that optimize the camera settings for a specific environment: • DocCap: Intermec document capture. • Check: Capture images of paper checks. • Night: Low light conditions. • Cloudy: Cloudy or overcast conditions. • Daylight: Bright sun. • Van Interior: Dimly lit vehicle interior. • Warehouse: Warehouse environment. • Office Store: Office or store environment. • Manual: Manually configure a specific set of camera settings. • Auto: The camera automatically configures the settings. About the Camera Settings
You can configure camera settings to meet the needs of your operating
environment:
Basic camera settings are available from the main menu of the
Pictures & Videos application.
Advanced camera settings are available from the Settings menu
option from the main menu of the Pictures & Videos application.
Basic Camera Settings
Setting
Description
Mode
Determines the camera operating mode:
Normal: Takes one picture.
