Chapter 8 - Troubleshoot and Maintain the Computer Call Product Support If you cannot find the answer to your problem in the "Troubleshoot Your Mobile Computer" on page 115, visit the Intermec technical knowledge base (Knowledge Central) at intermec.custhelp.com to review technical information or to request technical support. If you still need help after visiting Knowledge Central, you may need to call Product Support. To talk to an Intermec Product Support representative, call 1-800-755-5505. Before calling Intermec Product Support, make sure you have the following information ready: • Configuration number • Serial number • Operating system version • If you are using security, know the type (Funk or Microsoft) and the full set of parameters • Power management settings • If you use Intermec Terminal Emulator (ITE), find out the version and protocol information. If you do not use ITE, find out the language your custom application was written in and the tools you used to create it. You can find most of the information listed above in Intermec Settings. Consult your application developer for information on your custom application. Find Your Configuration Number To find the configuration number of your computer, look at the label on the back of the computer. Find Your Operating System Version To find the OS version of your mobile computer, follow steps below: 1 Press the Intermec Dashboard (m) button to launch the Dashboard. 2 Tap the Information bar.
