SL1000 User's Guide 3.1 Toolbar to VIEW Mode Film Selection Auto Focus Film Polarity Zoom In Zoom Out Rotate CCW Rotate CW Horizontal Flip It changes from the SCAN Mode to the VIEW Mode. The Film Selection screen is displayed. 3.2 Film Selection It is automatically adjusted to the best focus. NOTE ! It may not function correctly due to the condition of the film (density, contrast, and image pattern). In this case, adjust it manually. The polarity of the film ("Positive film" or "Negative film") is selected. The Scanner performs the zoom operation so that the magnification display is adjusted as long as button is depressed. The Scanner shifts to an electronic zoom when the upper bound of the optical zoom is exceeded and does the magnification operation. The Scanner does the zoom operation like wide-ranging being displayed as long as button is depressed. Whenever the button is pushed, the image is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. Whenever the button is pushed, the image is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Whenever the button is pushed, the image reverses right and left. NOTE ! It changes into the picture that reverses the icon for the reverse image. 3-14
