Note: Your computer comes with a secondary hard-disk-drive bay for installing or replacing a secondary 3.5-inch hard disk drive or a 2.5-inch solid-state drive. To replace the secondary hard disk drive, do the following: 1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer. 2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 71. 3. Locate the secondary hard disk drive. See "Locating components" on page 5. 4. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the hard disk drive. 5. Replacing the secondary hard disk drive

Your computer comes with a secondary hard-disk-drive bay for installing or replacing a secondary
3.5-inch hard disk drive or a 2.5-inch solid-state drive.
To replace the secondary hard disk drive, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect
all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 71.
3. Locate the secondary hard disk drive. See “Locating components” on page 5.
4. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the hard disk drive.
5. Pull the blue handle to release and remove the hard disk drive from the hard disk drive cage.
