Service Dialing Numbers (SDN) The numbers stored in the SDN phonebook are supplied, ready to use, and installed by your service provider. The SDN phonebook contains numbers and services that cannot be edited by you. You will not be able to see the number that is dialed as only the associated text title will be shown. To call numbers in the SDN directory, press or navigation key until the SDN directory is displayed and then use either the scrolling or searching method to locate and call the number. Although SDN is supported by your phone, it must be present on your SIM. Check with your service provider. Creating a new phonebook record From the main menu, select Phonebook > Lists to display the desired phonebook list. • Use the and navigation keys to display the following directories: Complete To create a new personal record, use the following procedures: • Highlight and press Left Softkey to display the Options menu. • Choose SIM or Phone depending on in which list you wish to create a new phonebook record. The following steps are the same as when creating a new record in the phonebook (SIM/Phone). See "SIM" for details. You can check the record number of a phonebook (Phone) entry in Complete. The number is on the third line of highlighted phonebook (Phone) entry. SIM You can set up the following information in the phonebook (SIM): • Name • Phone number • Location • Record no. To create a new personal record, use the following procedures: • Highlight and press Left Softkey to display the screen. • Use the and navigation keys to highlight the fields to be added. • Highlight Name field. Key in the name. • Highlight Phone number field. Key in the phone number. • To select an area code, press Right Softkey to access the +List menu and select the desired location. • Highlight Location field. Use the and navigation keys to select whether to save the record in the SIM or Protected SIM (in the FDN list). You will have to enter your PIN2 code before you can select Protected SIM as the location to store the record. 63
