ProSafe M5300 Switch PIM BSR Candidate Configuration To display the IPv6 PIM-SM BSR Candidate Configuration page, click Routing IPv6 Multicast PIM-SM BSR Candidate Configuration. To configure BSR candidate settings for IPv6 PIM-SM: 1. Use Interface to select the interface for which data is to be configured. 2. Use Priority to enter the priority of C-BSR. 3. Use Hash Mask Length to enter the C-BSR hash mask length to be advertised in bootstrap messages. This hash mask length will be used in the hash algorithm for selecting the RP for a particular group. The valid values are from 0 to 128. Default value is 126. Field IP Address Next bootstrap Message Next Candidate RP Advertisement Description Displays the IP address of the Elected BSR. Time (in hours, minutes, and seconds) in which the next bootstrap message is due from this BSR. Time (in hours, minutes, and seconds) in which the next candidate RP advertisement will be sent.
