M4300 Series and M4300-96X Fully Managed Switches Local Browser Interface: Enable Routing for the Switch 1. Select Routing > IP > Basic > IP Configuration. A screen similar to the following displays. 2. For Routing Mode, select the Enable radio button. 3. Click Apply to save the settings. Enable Routing for Ports on the Switch Use the following commands or the local browser interface to enable routing for ports on the switch. The default link-level encapsulation format is Ethernet. Configure the IP addresses and subnet masks for the ports. Network-directed broadcast frames will be dropped. The maximum transmission unit (MTU) size is 1500 bytes.
