4. External interfaces 4-1. Setting the GPI I/O The user can set the functions that are to be controlled from the GPI ports and set whether to enable the control. 1 Press the s button to light its indicator, and display the Config menu. 2 Use [F1] to display the GPI-In Setting sub menu (or GPI-Out Setting sub menu). 3 Use [F2] to set "On" or "Off" for the control to be exercised from the ports using the GPI-In Enable item (or GPI-Out Enable item). 4 Use [F3] to set the AUX bus to be used to notify the tally using the AUX Sel item. 5 Use [F1] to display GPI-In Port 1/2 sub menu and GPI-In Port 2/2 sub menu (or GPI-Out Port 1/5 sub menu to GPI-Out Port 5/5 sub menu). 6 Use [F2] to [F5] to allocate the functions to be assigned to the respective pin numbers. Refer to "Control using the GPI Input port" and "Output from the GPI Output port". ppSettings for the GPI-In Enable (or GPI-Out Enable) item can be assigned to one of the user buttons.
