When an memory card is ejected while the memory card access LED is lit, the transition may be temporarily suspended. In addition, the data stored on the memory card may be lost.  The data stored on memory cards may be lost as a result of misplacing the cards or performing erroneous operations, for instance. It is recommended that valuable data be stored on a computer or other device. 68
