ENGLISH Oven Mode Operation Setting Cooking Mode and Temperature • To Preheat (see Preheat and Fast Preheat below) • To use Meat Probe (see page 17) 1. Place food inside the oven. 2. The following modes can be selected by moving the Cooking Mode Dial to the desired position. Convection Bake (MULTI CONV BAKE) Convection Broil (CONV BROIL) Convection Roast (CONV ROAST) Pizza (MULTI PIZZA) Bake (BAKE) Broil (BROIL) 3. The set temperature is displayed in the Temperature Display. 4. Select the desired temperature by moving the Temperature Dial or leave it in the PRESET position if the proposed value is fine. The temperature can be changed by 5 °F or 5 °C steps. 5. Oven light will turn on and the cooking will start. "ON" is displayed in the Central Display. When the selected oven is active, oven lights will turn on. 6. Set the cooking time. See page 16 for how to set. 7. To change the temperature while cooking, simply turn the Temperature Dial until the display shows the desired value. 8. When the cooking is completed, "End" is displayed in the Temperature Display, beep is sounded, and the light is turned off. Remove the food from the oven. (Be careful not to burn yourself) 9. Make sure to set the Cooking Mode Dial to OFF when the cooking is finished. Move the Cooking Mode Dial to OFF or open the door if you intend to stop cooking. Setting Low Temperature Mode and Temperature 1. Place food inside the oven. 2. To move the Cooking Mode Dial to Low Temperature Mode. 3. Touch [OPTIONS] key to selected mode. It toggles between following four modes: Dehydrate (DEHY) Defrost (CONV) Proof (WARM) Warming (WARM PLUS) • The last used mode will be kept in memory for the next selection. 4. Perform operation from "3." to "9." of the setting Cooking Mode and Temperature. Preheat and Fast Preheat • When use Convection Bake, Bake, Convection Broil, Convection Roast and Pizza Modes "PREHEAT" will appear in the Temperature Display. • Place oven racks in their proper position before preheating. • Preheating is necessary for good results when baking cakes, cookies, pastry and breads. • Preheating will help to sear roasts and seal in meat juices. • Use [FAST PREHEAT] when a shorter time is desired to preheat the oven. Display shows "FAST". (NOT working for the Convection Broil Mode) • Selecting a higher temperature does not shorten the preheat time. 1. When Preheat is started, the "PREHEAT" display appears and the vertical bar indicates, in four steps (the set-point temperature are 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) in the Temperature Display. During preheating, the selected cooking temperature is always displayed. 2. 100% is reached (end of preheat), a beep will confirm and the "PREHEAT" display will turn off. ("FAST" display will turn off if use [FAST PREHEAT].) 3. The oven switches automatically to the desired cooking mode that was previously set: put the food inside now. 15
