If you are editing Original content on a VR mode disc or content on the HDD, the title will be erased from the disc and the available recording time will increase accordingly. If you erase titles from a Video mode DVD-R disc, the title will disappear from the list of titles, but the available recording time will not increase. Erasing a title from a Video mode DVD-RW disc increases the available recording time only if it is the last title on the disc. 1 Select 'Erase' from the Disc Navigator menu options. 2 Use the / / / (cursor buttons) to select the title you want to erase, then press ENTER. Play VR mode Video mode HDD Use this function to start playback of a title. 1 Select 'Play' from the Disc Navigator menu options. 2 Use the / / / (cursor buttons) to select the title you want to play, then press ENTER or PLAY. Tip • You can erase a title quickly by pressing CLEAR when the title is highlighted. Confirm the edit by pressing ENTER. (You can also use this method to erase titles when using the Play function, above.) Remember
If you are editing a VR mode disc, use the
PLAYLIST
button to switch to the Disc Navigator Original
screen.
Play
Use this function to start playback of a title.

Select ‘Play’ from the Disc Navigator menu
options.

Use the
³/´/µ/¶
(cursor buttons) to select the
title you want to play, then press ENTER or
PLAY.
Playback of the title you selected starts.
Erase
The Erase title command does slightly different things
depending on what you are currently editing. If you are
editing Original content on a VR mode disc or content on
the HDD, the title will be erased from the disc and the
