Security settings • Remember passwords: remembers your passwords for some webpages that require you to sign in, to make it quicker to sign into those pages on repeat visits. • Clear passwords: deletes any passwords the Browser stored. • Show security warnings: warns you about websites with common security problems, such as outdated or invalid certificates. Advanced settings • Website settings: opens a screen so you can view advanced settings for particular websites. • Reset to default: deletes all browser data, including your browsing history, cookies, passwords, and bookmarks and restores all to the original values. Enable Downloading for Web Applications Important!: Before you can download a web application you must insert an SD into the tablet and enable the Unknown sources feature (enables downloading). For more information, refer to "Installing the Memory Card" on page 5. Also, see "Mounting the SD Card" on page 34. 1. From the Home screen, touch Applications. ➔ Settings ➔ 2. Touch the Unknown sources check box. 3. Touch On under Unknown sources to allow install of nonMarket applications. Touch Off to disable installation of non-market applications. Warning!: Not all web applications are safe to download. In order to protect your tablet and data, use Android Market to install web applications. Bluetooth About Bluetooth Bluetooth® is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless devices. The Bluetooth communication range is usually up to approximately 30 feet. Turning Bluetooth On and Off Turning Bluetooth on: 1. From any screen, sweep your finger downward from the top to display the Notification panel. 2. Touch Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth on. 98
