B. Misfeed in the copier

Misfeed removal 2 Remove all the paper, including the jammed paper, from the paper tray. If the misfed paper will not come out easily, do not pull it hard, as you may tear it or damage the printing mechanism. In such cases, proceed to "B. Misfeed in the copier". 5 3 Straighten the edges of the stack of paper and then reinsert it into the paper tray. 4 Push the paper release lever back again to secure the paper. B. Misfeed in the copier 1 Place some scrap paper on a nearby level surface. 2 Push gently on both sides of the front cover to open the cover. 3 Gently pull the TD cartridge out and place it on the scrap paper which was prepared in step 1. Misfeed removal

Remove all the paper, including the jammed paper, from the paper tray.
If the misfed paper will not come out easily, do not pull it hard, as
you may tear it or damage the printing mechanism. In such cases,
proceed to “B. Misfeed in the copier”.
Straighten the edges of the stack of paper and then reinsert it into the
paper tray.
Push the paper release lever back again to secure the paper.
B. Misfeed in the copier
Place some scrap paper on a nearby level surface.

Gently pull the TD cartridge out and place it on the scrap paper which was
prepared in step 1. To remove the TD cartridge, see page 29, step 2.
