Getting Started 45 Using the computer for the first time Turning on the power 1 Check that all the drives are empty. 2 If you have a printer connected to your computer, turn on the printer and wait until the printer indicates that it is ready (on line). On 3 Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the top of the keyboard. Pressing the power button NOTE: When you turn on the computer for the first time, don't turn off the power again until the operating system has loaded completely.
