Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI Cards User's Guide If you select Advanced Configuration Options, the Advanced Configuration Options menu appears. To change a setting in the Advanced Configuration Options menu, select the setting. From the pop-up menu that appears, select a new setting. To save the changes, select Yes. To abandon the changes, select No. 6 Press Esc until prompted to exit the utility. Then, select Yes. The computer prompts you if a restart is needed for your new settings to take effect. (Changing the Master SCSI Controller setting or running the standalone SCSI utility forces an automatic restart.) Otherwise, your new settings take effect immediately. This enables you to quickly verify that no devices on the SCSI bus have duplicate IDs. 3-16
