Useful Functions Functions useful in improving sewing efficiency are described below. Automatically sewing reverse/ reinforcement stitches Position the fabric under the presser foot, and d then press ("Start/Stop" button) once. The sewing machine can be set to automatically sew reverse or reinforcement stitches at the beginning and end of the stitching. Whether reverse stitches or 2 reinforcement stitches are sewn depends on the stitch that is selected. For details, refer to "Stitch Setting Chart" (page 68). 1 a "Start/Stop" button Turn on the sewing machine. a X After reverse/reinforcement stitches are sewn, the machine starts sewing.
