(See Figure 5-2.) Note Ensure that the power is removed from the DC circuit to ensure proper safety is maintained. Warning Before performing any of the following procedures, ensure that the power is removed from the DC circuit. To ensure that all power is OFF, locate the circuit breaker on the panel board that services the DC circuit. Switch the circuit breaker to the OFF (O) position, and tape the switch handle of the circuit breaker in the OFF (O) position. Statement 140 Caution Use an ESD-preventive strap when disconnecting power leads on the router. Disconnect the power source from the router as described below for each power input type:

Note
Ensure that the power is removed from the DC circuit to ensure proper safety is maintained.
