Router# show rom-monitor Region F1: APPROVED, preferred Region F2: INVALID Currently running ROMMON from F1 region Removing the 256-MB Route Processor Memory To remove the RP memory module, perform the following steps: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Attach an ESD-preventive wrist strap to your wrist, and to the router or to a bare metal surface. (See the "Preventing Electrostatic Discharge" section on page 2-3.) Place the router on an antistatic mat so that the front of the router is facing you. Locate the RP memory module on the router motherboard.
