Statement 1 Warning Before working on equipment that is connected to power lines, remove jewelry (including rings, necklaces, and watches). Metal objects will heat up when connected to power and ground and can cause serious burns or weld the metal object to the terminals. Statement 43 Caution Excessive bending in an interface cable can degrade performance. Required Tools and Equipment You need the following tools and equipment: • ESD-preventive strap • Number 1 Phillips screwdriver • Cable ties Removing the Cable-Management System To remove the cable-management system, perform the following steps: Step 1 Attach an ESD-preventive strap to your wrist, and to the router or to a bare metal surface. Safety
Power down the router before performing any maintenance procedure and read the following safety
warnings and cautions:

Before working on a system that has an ON/OFF switch, switch OFF the power and unplug the power
