(See Figure 3-29.) Connecting the DC Power Supply Warning When you install the unit, the ground connection must always be made first and disconnected last. Statement 42 Warning Before performing any of the following procedures, ensure that the power is removed from the DC circuit. Ensure that power is removed from the DC circuit. To ensure that all power is off, locate the circuit breaker on the panel board that services the DC circuit. Switch the circuit breaker to the off (O) position, and tape the switch handle of the circuit breaker in the off (O) position. Statement 140 Note The battery return connection is to be treated as an isolated DC return (i.e. DC-I), as defined in GR-1089-CORE, Issue 3. Note The minimum wire gauge size supported on the DC dual power supply is 17 American Wire Gauge (AWG), which has a 1.5mm wire diameter.
