Restarting the Router 5 • To download the latest firmware from Cisco: Click Firmware Download from Web Site.Your web browser opens the router information page on Cisco.com. Click the Download Firmware button. Continue through the screens to select the latest router firmware and to download the file. Extract the file on your computer. Then perform the firmware upgrade as described above. Restarting the Router If you need to restart the router, Cisco recommends that you use the Restart tool on this page. When you restart from the System Management > Restart page, the router will send out your log file (if logging is enabled) before it is reset. To open this page: Click System Management > Restart in the navigation tree. STEP 1 Click Restart Router to restart the router. STEP 2 When the confirmation message appears, click OK to continue. Restarting the Router
