DXS-3600 Series 10GbE Layer 2/3 Switch CLI Reference Guide Parameters NETWORK-ADDRESS route-map MAP-NAME Specifies the network address and the sub-network mask that BGP will advertise. For example, the format of NETWORK-ADDRESS can be 10.9.18.2/8 (Optional) Specifies the name of a configured route map. The route map should be examined to filter the networks to be advertised. If not specified, all networks are advertised. Default Command Mode Command Default Level Usage Guideline None. Router Configuration Mode. Address Family Configuration Mode (IPv4 Unicast and VRF). Level: 8. (EI Mode Only Command) BGP networks can be learned from connected routes, from dynamic routing, and from static route sources. Use this command to specify a network as local to this autonomous system and adds it to the BGP routing table. For exterior protocols the network command controls which networks are advertised. Interior protocols use the network command to determine where to send updates. The BGP will advertise a network entry if the router has the route information for this entry if synchronize state is enabled. You can verify your settings by entering the show ip bgp network command in the Privileged Mode. Example This example shows how to set up network 10.108.0.0 to be included in the BGP updates. This command is used to redistribute routing information from other routing protocols to BGP. Use the no form of this

command to disable this function.

Parameters
