ENERGY STAR® Compliance Any Dell product bearing the ENERGY STAR® emblem on the product or on a start-up screen is certified to comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR® requirements as configured when shipped by Dell. The proper operation of the function requires a computer with VESA® DPM™ power management capabilities. When used with a computer equipped with VESA® DPM™, the monitor is ENERGY STAR®-compliant. As an ENERGY STAR® Partner, Dell Inc. has determined that this product meets the ENERGY STAR® guidelines for energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR® Emblem The EPA's ENERGY STAR® program is a joint effort between the EPA and manufacturers to reduce air pollution by promoting energy-efficient products. You can help reduce electricity usage and its side effects by turning off your product when it is not in use for extended periods of time, particularly at night and on weekends.
