Configuring and Viewing IGMP Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to configure IGMP on the switch and on VLAN routing interfaces and to view IGMP information. Command configure ip igmp interface vlan vlan-id ip igmp ip igmp version version ip igmp robustness robustness ip igmp query-interval seconds ip igmp query-maxresponse-time seconds ip igmp startup-queryinterval seconds ip igmp startup-querycount count Purpose Enter global configuration mode. Enable IGMP on the switch. Enter Interface Configuration mode for the specified VLAN. Enable IGMP on the interface. Set the version of IGMP for an interface. The version variable can be 1, 2, or 3. Configure the robustness that allows tuning of the interface, that is, tuning for the expected packet loss on a subnet. If a subnet is expected to have significant loss, the robustness variable may be increased for the interface. The range for robustness is 1-255. Configure the query interval for the specified interface. The query interval determines how fast IGMP HostQuery packets are transmitted on this interface. The range for seconds is 0-3600 seconds. Configure the maximum response time interval for the specified interface. It is the maximum query response time advertised in IGMPv2 queries on this interface. The range for seconds is 0-25 seconds. Set the interval between general queries sent at startup on the interface. The range for seconds is 0-300 seconds. Set the number of queries sent out on startup -at intervals equal to the startup query interval for the interface. The range for count is 1-20. 1198 Managing IPv4 and IPv6 Multicast
