Operating Principles EPL-N1200 Service Manual Lower Paper Cassette A maximum of 500 sheets can be loaded in the optional 500-sheet lower paper cassette. The paper size, however, must be a size that the casette is capable of handling. (The lower paper cassette unit can hold letter or A4 paper.) The driving force for paper feeding and transport is from the transmission gear. All electrical controls are performed on the printer side through the coupling connector. Paper Feeding from the Lower Paper Cassette 2.1.1.2 Drum Charge Drum charge is the process of charging the PC drum with static electricity before laser exposure. This printer uses a brush charge method, rather than the corona charge method, to charge the drum. In the brush charge method, there is no generation of ozone as a result of corona discharge. 2.1.1.2 Drum Charge
Drum charge is the process of charging the PC drum with static electricity before laser exposure.
This printer uses a brush charge method, rather than the corona charge method, to charge the
