Installing Option Cards Follow these steps to install an option card: 1. If you are installing an option card that controls a mouse, you need to change the setting of jumper JP7 before you install the card. If you install a display adapter card, you may need to change the settings of jumpers JP4 and JP6. If this is the case, see page 6-4 for instructions. 2. Remove the retaining screw from the top of the metal option slot cover; hold on to the screw so it doesn't fall into the computer. Lift out the slot cover. ? Keep the screw to secure the option card to the computer. Store the slot cover in a safe place in case you remove the option card later. 6-10 Installing and Removing Options
