Installing SlMMs Follow these steps to install SIMMs: 1. Turn the memory card on your work surface so the connectors at the bottom of the board are toward you. The sockets are labeled as shown below. 2. It is easiest to install SIMMs in the left sockets first. Position each SIMM with the notched edge toward the top of the socket and insert it on the right side of the tabs at an angle, as shown below. tab 6-16 Installing and Removing Options
