Removing a Password If you have forgotten your password and you do not want to set a new one, there are two ways to remove the current password: tl Disable the existing password Q Disable the password function. To do either of these procedures, you must reset a jumper on the main system board. If you are using network server mode and you remove the password, the computer automatically turns off network I . , You should disable the existing password if you want to be able to set a new password later without having to reset a jumper.
