Follow these steps to remove the cover: 1. Turn off the computer and any peripheral devices connected to it. Then disconnect the computer's power cord from the electrical outlet and from the back panel. Also disconnect any peripheral device cables that are connected to the computer, including the keyboard cable. 2. Turn the computer around so you are facing the back panel. 3. If necessary, unlock the computer's cover. (See Chapter 3 for instructions.) 4. Loosen the three thumbscrews on the computer's back panel by turning them counterclockwise, as shown below.
