Removing the bezel assembly 3 Press the two front cover release tabs on the left side of the bezel assembly, then rotate the assembly away from the chassis from left to right approximately 40 degrees. Caution If you rotate the bezel assembly away from the chassis more than 40 degrees, you may damage or break off the retention hooks on the right side of the assembly. 4 Push the bezel assembly to the right, away from the chassis, to disengage the retention hooks on the right side of the chassis. Tips & Tricks If the bezel assembly does not immediately disengage from the chassis, tap the left side of the assembly lightly to help disengage the retention hooks. www.gateway.com 45

Press the two front cover release tabs on the left side of the bezel assembly, then rotate
the assembly away from the chassis from left to right approximately 40 degrees.

Push the bezel assembly to the right, away from the chassis, to disengage the retention
hooks on the right side of the chassis.
Caution
If you rotate the bezel assembly away from the chassis more than
40 degrees, you may damage or break off the retention hooks on the
right side of the assembly.
Tips & Tricks
If the bezel assembly does not immediately disengage from the
chassis, tap the left side of the assembly lightly to help disengage
the retention hooks.
