Installing drives 6 If you are adding a 3.5-inch diskette drive, attach the drive to the diskette drive tray with screws, using the holes marked "FDD," then attach the drive rails to the drive tray by pressing the rails firmly into the dimples on each side of the tray. A - OR If you are adding a new 5.25-inch drive, attach the rails to the sides of your new drive by pressing the rails firmly into the side dimples on the CD or DVD drive. 7 Go to Step 11. 8 If you are replacing a drive, disconnect the old drive's cables from the back of the drive. 9 Press the old drive's release latches against the drive, then pull the drive out of the bay. www.gateway.com 55
